false ceiling. It is supplied with our patented system to con-
trol the air inlet flow direction without reducing performance.
Each unit can also be fitted with a new, integrated air flow
rate adjustment system (TRIM option).

Model TFB2 is an Induction Chilled Beam for installation in
false ceiling. It is supplied with our patented system to con-
trol the air inlet flow direction without reducing performance.
Each unit can also be fitted with a new, integrated air flow
rate adjustment system (TRIM option). The TFB2 model chil-
led beam has been designed to offer winning solutions in all
phases of the design, manufacture and operational usage of
the air conditioning plant and is still competitive compared to
equivalent products which do not have its multiple functions.

Here are the main features of the product:
•Developed with the aid of Computational Fluid Dynamics pro-
grams to optimize the induction effect of the unit and hence its
efficiency even at low pressure levels.
•Controllable Inlet Air flow direction without loss of performan-
ce (Roccheggiani patent).
•Site adjustable Air Flow with TRIM option which enables air
flow adjustment while keeping the same working pressure on
the unit.
•Virtually silent operation.
•Possibility of having room air extraction in the same chilled
beam (option)
•2 pipe or 4 pipe water cooling and heating options.
•Easy access for cleaning and inspection of the beam surfa-
ces and fittings.
•Available options for valve and anti-condensation integration.
•Available option for integrated air extraction valve.
•Exposed elements that can be uniform in length with variable
active lengths (internal lengths of heat exchange batteries) to
satisfy room loads while maintaining the lengths of the visible
parts the same.

4-Pipe Cooling/Heating solution
The appliance is also available in a 4 pipe option with a circuit
dedicated to heating.
It is possible to achieve effective heating with low levels of ver-
tical temperature stratification in buildings complying with the
latest energy standards, with no heat dispersion from the floor
and typical floor to ceiling heights of between 2.7-3.0 m.
Heating is also possible with the 2-pipe version where the
performance is further enhanced so even lower heated water
temperatures can be used.

Incorporated anti-condensation sensor
The beam can be supplied with an optional anti-condensation
sensor.
This sensor is located on the coil battery, in the optimal po-
sition where it is constantly in contact with the room air and
therefore is able to react quickly when condensation occurs.

Regulating valves and actuators
The beam can be supplied with control kits (valve + electro-
thermal actuator).

Integrated TRIM system for the regulation of the air flow at
constant pressure
The beam can be supplied with an integrated manual system
that allows you to modify nozzles geometry at constant pres-
sure.

Integrated air extraction valve
The beam can be supplied with an integrated air extraction
plenum, together with an air flow damper.
