TFP
TFP model is a Passive chilled beam that is suited both for
visible installations, mounted right under the ceiling (TFP-M
model), and for installations completely hidden over a perfora-
ted metallic false ceiling (TFP-N model).

TFP model is a Passive chilled beam that is suited both for
visible installations, mounted right under the ceiling (TFP-M
model), and for installations completely hidden over a perfora-
ted metallic false ceiling (TFP-N model).

The product provides a simple and efficient solution for various
types of applications:
-when it is difficult or impossible to connect the chilled beam to
the air distribution network
-when only cooling is required, for example in internal parts of
deep buildings
-to supplement the cooling of specific interior areas (typically
along the perimeter) without needing to increase the prima-
ry air flows (the beam superbly exploits situations with a high
vertical gradient of temperatures, increasing the performan-
ce) typical of facades with absorbent windows or with internal
screens.
-to cool down transit zones with high cooling loads require-
ments
-for architectural applications with perforated metal false cei-
lings where the objective is not to be aware of the room’s air
conditioning terminal (concealed installation above an open
false ceiling)
-for cooling areas where a special type of air distribution is
required, provided by specific diffusers (long throw diffusers,
floor level distribution…)
The TFP model chilled beam, on request, can be delivered with
primary air inlet connection.
With this type of chilled beam, the battery capacity is not signi-
ficantly influenced by the airflow level.
The TFP model is also available in a radiant version (TFP-R), for
the version with exposed installation (TFP-R-M) and the version
concealed above a perforated false ceiling (TFP-R-N).
The radiant version, has two main advantages:
-It develops lower velocities in the room at the same capacity
level of a standard passive beam (lower draught risk)
-It can be used for heating, both in 2 pipe and 4 pipe versions.
The TFP model chilled beam has been designed to offer win-
ning solutions in all phases of the design, manufacture and
operational usage of the air conditioning plant in particular
when there is no advantage in including the primary air distri-
bution function inside the chilled beam and when one intends
to increase the performance in rooms without needing to in-
crease the primary air flow rate.

Radiant versions (TFP-R-M and TFP-R-N)
Both of the models (TFP-M and TFP-N) can be delivered in spe-
cial execution with higher level of radiant heat exchange.

4-pipe Cooling/Heating solution (4T available only on TFP-R-
M and TFP-R-N)
For radiant models it is available also 4 pipe option with a cir-
cuit dedicated to heating.

Primary air inlet (AI)
For heights and spaces please refer to our technical office
since it may lead to changes in the overall dimensions of the
product.

Integrated anti-condensation sensor (SA)
The beam can be supplied with an optional anti-condensation
sensor.
This sensor is located on the coil battery, in the optimal po-
sition where it is constantly in contact with the room air and
therefore able to react quickly whenever condensation occurs.
