Model TFBH2 is an Induction Chilled Beam for installation in
false ceiling.
The specific design of the exchange chamber, optimized throu-
gh a process of Thermofluidodynamical analysis with the aid
of a finite element program, lead to very high specific capacity
levels.
The special induction nozzles together with the internal airflow
patterns allow the element to be used at quite high pressure le-
vels on the airside, with very low noise levels from the element
and hence attaining very high cooling capacity.
Due to the very high specific capacities, the parallel throw con-
figuration of the nozzles and the high working pressures that
allow high throw ranges, the product is suitable for use in in-
stallations where the two throws manage to reach the walls of
the room whenever a highly charged modularity is required (a
typical example would be an installation with a single parallel
line on the facade on which elements would be used with di-
mensions compatible with the modularity of the facade; from
1.2 to 2.4 m).
The TFBH2 model chilled beam has been designed to offer
winning solutions in all phases of the design, manufacture and
operational usage of the air conditioning plant, enabling very
high specific capacity levels while remaining a highly compe-
titive product.

Here are the specific features of the product:
• Developed with the aid of Computational Fluid Dynamics
programs to optimize induction and capacity of the unit
and hence efficiency also at low pressure levels.
• Air diffusion in the room through parallel nozzles.
• Air flow rate can be differentiated on the two directions
• Virtually silent operation even at high pressure levels.
• 2 pipe or 4 pipe water cooling and heating options.
• Easy access for cleaning and maintenance through the
inspection under panel.
• Available options for valve and anti-condensation
integration.
• Available option for integrated air extraction valve.
Exposed elements that can be uniform in length with
variable active lengths (internal lengths of heat exchan-
ge batteries) to satisfy room loads while maintaining
the lengths of the visible parts the same.

4-pipe Cooling/Heating solution
The appliance is also available in a 4 pipe option with a circuit
dedicated to heating.
It is possible to achieve effective heating with low levels of
vertical temperature stratification in buildings complying with
the latest energy standards, with no heat dispersion from the
floor, and typical floor to ceiling heights of between 2.7-3.0
m. Heating is also possible with the 2-pipe version where the
performance is further enhanced so even lower heated water
temperatures can be used.

Incorporated anti-condensation sensor
The beam can be supplied with an optional anti-condensation
sensor.
This sensor is located on the coil battery, in the optimal po-
sition where it is constantly in contact with the room air and
therefore able to react quickly whenever condensation occurs.

Regulating valves and actuators
The beam can be supplied with control kits (valve + electro-
thermal actuator).

Integrated air extraction valve
The beam can be supplied with an integrated air extraction
plenum, together with an air flow damper.
