DUT
• The DUT ceiling diffuser is suitable
for use in offices, hospitals, stores
and other premises where 100% fle-
xible spread pattern is desired.
• The diffuser has easy to set flexibili-
ty from tangential to vertical spread
pattern.
• Airflow rates: 10 – 135 l/s (35 – 490
m3/h).
• We recommend use with a minimum
temperature of input air that is a ma-
ximum of 12°C lower than that of the
room
• 5 unit sizes: 125; 160; 200; 250; 315

Construction characteristics
• DUT diffuser is made of sheet ste-
el and powder coated in white RAL
9010. The discs are made of ABS-
plastic.
• Plenum box in galvanized sheet steel.

Performance data
Data refers to DUT diffuser with TK plenum box.
The sound pressure levels L A shown on the dia-
grams are measured in a room with an attenua-
tion of 10 m 2 sabine. Sound power level: L W dB
Sound pressure: L A dB (A) (see diagrams)
Correction factor: K O dB from table L W = L A + K O
The attenuation shown in the table is applicable from
the duct to the room.

Throw length
The throw length L 02 is measured under isothermal
conditions and the spread patterns are
measured with standard disc settings.
By rotating the discs an infinitely variable number of
spread patterns can be provided and thereby also an
altered throw length. If for example the discs are rotated
against each other a vertical air beam is obtained.
