The UGT swivel-nozzle diffuser is used
to input treated air into industrial pre-
mises, shopping centres, warehouses,
and in all installations where you need
considerable depth of air flow penetra-
tion. The air flow direction is adjusted
manually

Construction features
The UG nozzle diffuser is made with an
all-aluminium natural satin body and
transparent primer protective coating
and is installed with grub screws.

Operation
The UGT nozzle diffuser has automatic adjustment
for the inclination of air launch direction via a
non-electric, thermostatic actuator made of spe-
cial Nickel-Titanium shape-memory alloys.
When the supply air is warm (heating condition),
the actuator moves the airflow downwards, whe-
reas when the incoming air is cold (cooling con-
dition, it moves the airflow upwards in agreement
with the previously calculated deflection angle.
The UGT diffuser has the advantage of not requi-
ring any initial factory settings.

It can be mounted on the channel, wall or plenum and finally
adjusted.
The adjustment of the angle of deflection is very simple and in-
tuitive with mechanical steps also displayed on a supporting co-
loured scale on the inside of the fitting (photo 1).
The diffuser works in a temperature range of between 15°C and
40°C. The average temperature of 25 °C has a deflection angle
of 0°.
