MINIB design floor convectors are the optimal solution to achieve quick heat, to cool environments with special architectural needs and to avoid fogging in areas with glass windows surfaces. The series includes convectors with water or electric heat exchanger, with natural or forced convection, providing heating, cooling and ventilation of wet or dry environment, ensuring low power consumption, a low noise level and optimum integration with interior architecture. Roccheggiani is the only authorized agent for MINIB underfloor convectors in Italy and Switzerland.

Energy saving
The use of tangential fans with 12 V direct
current motors (DC) allows a reduction of
operating costs by about 80% if compa-
red to conventional alternating current
AC motors, with an average power con-
sumption of only 3 W per metre of length
of coil (Except for applications for swim-
ming pools and coil models TE and HCM).

Silent
The values of sound pressure of the
fans were measured with a background
level of sound pressure of 22 dBA (value
significantly greater than measured in the
anechoic laboratory), highlighting that the
fans’ contribution to environmental noise
is pratically neglible.

Design
The manufacture of curved coils or those
based around a corner, the wide variety of
grilles, the wide range in size and design
allow us to satisfy the most particular
architectural requirements.

Technology
The use of tangential fans guarantees a
uniform distribution of air along the entire
length of the discharge grille of the fan.
The reduced volume of water inside the
coil results in low thermal inertia and con-
sequently, a rapid response to any heat
request to the convector.

Technical Specifications
1. 12 V DC motor, with the exception of
the applications for swimming pools and
the fan coil with electric heater FR UF TE.
2. Heat exchanger with copper tubes and
aluminium fins.
3. Stainless steel container quality AISI
304, for applications in wet environment
stainless steel quality AISI 316 is used.
4. Maximum power of the fan-coil heaters
up to 8 kW.
5. Minimum height of fan: 50 mm (FR UF
– T50).
6. Minimum width of the fan: 106mm (FR
UF KT0)

Standard equipment
– Stainless steel trough (the external ther-
mal insulation of the trough is not inclu-
ded in standard equipment; any insulation
to prevent condensation shall be carried
out on site by the installer)
– Stainless steel flexible connection tubes
– Stainless steel top cover of the connec-
tion pipes
– Two flexible couplings or threaded fitting
GAS or coupling and shut-off valve
– Aluminium frame
– Tangential fan with high quality opera-
tion 12V DC
– Highly efficient fan motors
All fans are made with the water
connection pipes on the right (if looking
from inside the area). Upon request, the
fan system can be adapted to have the
water pipe connections on the left.
